Welcome to the forum from the sticks of Texas! Good luck on the gun selection. Probably can't go wrong with the Walther or the smaller Glock(s).
Hi to all who all. I am currently in the process of getting my concealled carry license and am trying to narrow down my choices for my every day companion carry pistol. I am a 155lb "vertically challenged" (5'-7") male with a reasonable amount handgun experience. I sold a Glock 23 because it was a bit difficult for me to conceal without a jacket or vest. I replaced the G23 with a Ruger LC9 but can't get used to the trigger after having the Glock for so long. So the LC9 has to go. I am very seriously considering the Walther PPS in 40 S&W since I have a few thousand pieces of brass for it already. I have also considered the Glock 27 in 40S&W but do nofind it really anymore helpful since the width is the same as the G23. I understand that the Walther may be a bit of a hadful in such a small package buy I intend to run the 135gr bullets anyway and figure they MAY help in the recoil department. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks, Goat

Hi and welcome.....JJ
welcome from southern oregon
welcome goat. while I don't own one (yet), the taurus 709 subcompact slim looks like a good ccw. the pearce grip extensions would be a fine addition. I carry the pt111 pro, which is also a fine ccw.![]()
