Lets see.. an introduction, member of the NRA and NAHC, have a C&R License and recently moved to Iowa from Illinois so am able to enjoy ccw. I've been into firearms since I received my first .22 when I was 10 which was a Winchester 1906 .22short - was my granddaddy's which is now a 'safe queen' sort of speak..so over 20+ years. Have since acquired a small collection, mostly C&R firearms. As of last year my handguns consisted of mainly C&R pistols/revolvers, a couple Ruger revolvers which were gifts from my father over the years, and a couple hi-points (and for the gun snobs out there, I enjoy my hi points - over 1k rounds through each with 0 issues). Couple months ago I purchased a px4 full .40S&W and fell in love with it, have since added the u22 neos (absolutely love it), px4 sub compact 9mm, and 84bb not to mention a new found love for Beretta firearms. Found this forum while mainly looking for a Beretta forum but there's also sections for numerous other firearms. After doing some reading and browsing, seems to be a lot of knowledgeable people here so decided to register. I've left many other forums due to the fact that if your not in the 'click' sort of speak of regular users... most seem to be unfriendly toward new comers after a bit..so see how things go, anyways look forward to being a member and hopefully a contributor. I will end my paragraph now
Welcome...from another Beretta lover...
Howdy from the Lone Star State.
Welcome.......Your opinion is anyone not impressed with Hi pionts is a gun snob? Interesting concept.
Enjoy your new Beretta and be safe. What part of Iowa are you from? I lived there for 15 years in Marshalltown.
My job took me to MN but I do miss Iowa at times. You are correct there is alot of good knowlege here.
Welcome to the site.
Thanks for the welcomes, and I wasn't insinuating everyone not impressed with hi points were gun snobs, just every forum has them and meant no insult by it. To be honest I could be considered a snob toward some 'brands' myself.
From the Bettendorf area (aka Quad Cities). So far loving Iowa... and don't miss Illinois at all haha.
