colt government series 80

i have a series 80 colt government model in 38 super. i dont like the fixed rear sight; does any body know if i can replace it with an adjustable one without machineing the slide. i was told that if i changed it i had to change the front sight also. if i can change it what brand of sights fit etc. thanking anybody that can help

I think there are Millet adjustable rear sights that do not require milling of the slide, but they look awful ugly.

I'd probably just get one of THESE
