    hello from a new member from south texas

    hello everyone. I want to thank handgunforum.net for this membership. I wish to use this venue as a means of promoting the shooting arts and to gain knowledge from other folks such as yourselves. I am a retired police officer/rangemaster who still loves to shoot. one thing I try to do is introduce lady shooters and non-shooters to the shooting arts. for some of us, it can be a rewarding challenge! I have a son who also enjoys shooting. He is 27. I taught him responsible shooting since he was 7. thank you and let'shave fun!!

    thanx for the welkum guys n hope ya'll r warm, like us down here. as I mentioned, I was a rangemaster at a local p.d. (mcallen, tx.). we were last issued beretta 96f's so I am partial to beretta's. i am also a beretta armorer, having attended the armorer school in ackokeek, md. around 1990. luv them berettas and own a 92fs inox. never been to oregon but they got a good duck football team! been to pa., gettysburg and hope to go back someday soon, re-visit civil war battlesites...
