welcome from southern oregon..... lets hear about the ones that DONT work!
Hello,
My name is Tyler. I just did my first gun purchase a couple days ago. I ordered a Ruger 22/45 mkiii.
I do have a couple of guns in my safe. My favorites are an old school .44, my father in laws police issue .357.
Both of which I have put a few rounds through. My wife got all of her dads guns after he passed away several years ago.
Some work, some dont.. We have a couple of long guns we dont know what they are....
Looking forward to getting the .22!! I love shooting, the .357 and .44 just cost soo much to blow away pop bottles and ice cubes...
Other things I like... I flyfish, and autox my 08 Toyota Corolla 'S'. Racing is where most of my money has gone in the last two years. It takes a bit of it to turn a family car into a cone killing machine...
About me... I am 28, bought my house five years ago, married, no kids (hence turning the family car into a road huggin' race car...), four cats that get treated better than some peoples kids. Work for a plastic pipe company... Thats about all I can think of...
See everybody around!!

Hahaha!! They are .22 rifle frames. He had planned on building one for all of the kids, but passed before he had them built. One is complete and worked for a while. It is a really old school 10 round pump .22. One time out shooting, it slowley started shooting with less and less power until it just quite... I am thinking bad fire pin??
We also have a Lewis & Clark era long gun. She had it checked before we met, and it is the real thing. It looks like it would work, but I have not had the balls to try it.
Also, a left handed black powder, flash in the pan, pistol made out of a large deer horn. Could be a modern kit maybe, I just have never done any research on it. It seems like it would be pretty scary to fire.
What part of Southern Oregon are you in? I will be down in Prineville in about a month for a fishing trip. That is a bit more Central Oregon though...
Very nice area! A buddy and I floated that one time in the one man pontoon boats. I broke an oar lock in between the put in and take out. We wound up lashing our boats together and each running an oar. Not the best way to go through some of that river....
Welcome.
Welcome to the site!

(RIP, Mr. Camp; you will be remembered, and missed)
I lied... Well not really, it had just been a while since I looked at the guns even... The .44 is actually a Great Western .45
And the .357 is a Colt Mkiii .357 Trooper model.
Just a quick update....
Welcome Konekiller,From Jax's Florida..![]()
Yes Sir, The police issue pistols you own,Are some of the best pistol ever made.![]()
Thanks Cat!
The .357 is one of the best guns I have shot. Not as much recoil with the mag rounds as a friends newer .38... Dunno if it is just in my head or not, but I feel like it shoots easier.
