Just wanted to say hi. I'm new to both the forum and to firearms in general, and at present do not personally own any. I borrow from family members when I go out shooting with them. Somewhat decided on what I'll be buying when I get a chance, but I'm always looking for more to learn before I get to that point.

Yeah, I've become a big fan of this and a couple of other forums where I've been able to search and find answers to questions sometimes I didn't realize I had.

I admit, I'm a lurker. I'm actually really nervous even talking to family members about guns. Guess I'm just afraid of asking stupid questions thus my lurkerdom.

And thank you for the warm welcome, guys. I just moved to SW Idaho a few months ago so it's a little weird for me with the gun laws being far less restrictive/confusing/I gave up and didn't bother (in MA).
