    New gun owner!

    Hello everyone, Ive recently made my 1st firearm purchase. A Beretta 96A1. Looking forward to being part of the comuntiy here and learning more about firearms!

    just got my 96a1 a couple of weeks ago,so i guess i am in the same boat you are. always checking back here for good info. i can tell you my 96a1 shoots low, it may be me for now. also i had to load my mags and let them sit for a week. rounds were not sitting up on an angle. they were fine after that. still getting used to the grip and angle,but i sure don't mind!

    thanks for the tip,Cait43. printed out the chart and i could easily see how i could be breaking my wrists down or pushing forward. haven't found my proper grip with this one yet and i may be anticipating the flip from the .40 rounds.

    One reason for shooting low (for a lot of shooters) is trying to see your "hit" on the target as soon as the trigger is pulled, thus inadvertently lowering the muzzle (to see the target better) just enough to make your point of impact 2-4 inches below your intended point of aim (depending on distance).

    Nice. I'm still shopping and would like to find a place to test the Beretta 96a1 or 92FS at some point.
