    Hello from Ohio

    123
As you can see by my name I'm a Buckeye.

I've been hunting all my life, but I've only been shooting hanguns for 4 or 5 years now, first one I ever owned was an H&K USP-compact .40. I have since bought the .357 Sig barrel for it, a Bersa Thunder .380 and a Taurus PT-145 Millenium Pro. I'm planning on purchasing a Springfield or Kimber 1911 after I get the tax return next year (I've been averaging one gun per tax return for the past few years )

Seems like a great place to learn and discuss

Not much, actually the opposite end of the state, I usually end up hunting the Ohio River quite a bit with "big-fields" and "DrahthaarDude" from GLW. I've only hunted Erie once and that was a few years ago back when the Bluebill limit was still 3. Unfortunately I had a blast shooting out of a layout boat and now it looks like the Bluebills are going the way of the Canvasback.
I'm a bit equipmentlly challenged, no boat, so I hunt public marshes in Central Ohio a lot when I hunt by myself.

Welcome Buckeye. I lived in Cincinnati a good number of years ago and Columbus also. We use to go up to lake Erie for the Perch run every year and load up for the summer. Enjoy the forum. Good bunch.
