    yello from Rockford, Illinois

    My name is Eric new to this forum. i just bought a gen 3 Glock 17 in o.d. green. I only have one other handgun that would be a stainless finish Smith & Wesson model 686 w/ four inch barrel. Other firearms I own are a WASR-10 and a Mossberg 500 thanks

    Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the Glock.
    As a new comer to the Glock world, I will say that they are a much better hand gun than I would have imagined, always thought the Glock hype was just that, hype.

    But it turns out they really are great guns. Bought a 17 little over a year ago and just recently a 19 both Gen 3s. Could not wait for the Gens 4s.

    Have fun with your new pea shooter.

    haven't had the money to shoot Mr. G17 yet but, I can't wait. I really like the looks of the Glock o.d. and the balance was alot better than expected. Combine that with Glock tru dot night sights and I'm a happy camper. Any thoughts on accessories? I'm thinking about decal rubber grip, extended slide and mag release. I'm sure there is a Glock thread so I will post that question.
