    Thumbs up WI, but moving.

Hello everyone. My wife is currently in the Air Force and I possibly will too in the future. We will be moving and living in our first home, but not sure where yet. She has to get orders to where she'll PCS.

I have pretty good knowledge on all sorts of firearms, but I can never know enough. I came on here in search of what pistol I should buy for CCW. Since we will be moving in more shadier areas, I feel it may be appropriate to start carrying.

I LOVE target shooting with my dad and I have been hunting, since I was 8.

I look forward to meeting some of you and the information you provide.

Welcome from Iowa! I have family in Wi.

There are many good choices of carry guns available. Dig in and read up all you can. The knowledge base here is a good one.

    Welcome from SE Texas.

CCW have you looked at Beretta PX4 or Stoeger Cougar? The Stoeger Cougar is one of the best guns for the money.

Both the Beretta and Stoeger look "pretty"

I don't feel I need to ask too many questions, MANY before have asked the same questions I have. I'll just have to do a little reading.

I bought a Taurus PT 24/7 a while ago and sold it to my father. I am looking for most likely a 9mm, but would consider a .40 or .357 SIG

I want something small enough to go in all my jacket inside pockets and eventually an inside belt holster. I will most likely buy a 9mm Sub-compact with night sights. The XD9 felt great in my larger hands. I would buy something that fits my hand well, where I have a very good grip. Some of the Glocks seem a little small like the Glock 33
