    welcome. I just joined today as well! just poke around a bit and use the search if you cant find what you're looking for. The site is set up pretty well, so you should be just fine.

    Welcome from a former Michigander (Down River)! As far as how to use the site most effectively, use the search feature, it's there for a reason, using the advanced search is a bit easier as you can search in the sub-forums more easily. Other than that dive in with both feet and read, read, read, and then read some more.

    The Forum Main Page, is nicely laid out by topic, start at the top and work your way down, stopping and reading what interests you.

    Near the top of each sub-forum are whats called "Sticky" threads, these have a little "push pin" icon to the right of them. Read the Stickies, they are your friends.

    When you have specific questions, or even non-specific questions, try and give as much information as possible, it's hard to help people when they seem to try and be as vague as possible in their posting.
