    Newby from Florida

    and, for an old guy, new to shooting. My daughter and I just started about 6 months ago and got the shooting-bug bad!
    We took our "Christmas" money and she's getting a new Sig P220 .40, and I'm getting a used Sig P229 in .357.
    Just don't tell the wife..............

    Welcome from a Halfback, we just left Florida after 20 years in the Clearwater/Gulfcoast area. Moved to TN, no more high insurance rates, hurricanes, property taxes etc. Will be back for two months out of the year though....your favorite kind spend money and leave.

    Under the radar heh? Better start coming up with some end of the world scenario stories, or if you get the Amercan Rifleman, tear out and save the Incident reports.

    Interesting you should respond, Johnny, as I think we both joined just a couple days ago? After reading YOUR intro, I said, "I have to give this guy a shout", but, well, uh.
    Anyway, we're about 15ish years from retirement and I already know where I'm going. TENNESSEE! Tired of the lack of "change of seasons" and HAVE to go to a no state income tax state!
    That Knowville area looks to be where we'll start looking, as I like the mountains and the way people vote there.
    Too far east for tornado's too, correct?

    37 at the airport. We're having the same cold weather as everyone else, I guess. Normals THIS time of year are 70-50, which is perfect. We're running about 15 degrees BELOW normal.....
