    Hello from Detroit. I haven't handle firearms much since out from the Marines but this President has me worried so my interested is peaked.

    Looking to purchase a handgun real soon then go for my CPL but just doing my research now.

    First of all, thank you for your service. Second, I would advise you to take your CCW course as most courses like this and similar, e.g., NRA Basic Pistol, has guns provided for the course free of charge and that includes the ammo too. From there, you might be able to find the gun that will just "fit your hand". From there, you can also make a decision on which sort of gun you might want to end up as your CCW gun.
