    Thumbs up Colorado's Newest Member!

    Hey all,

    I have been shooting for the past 24 years and plan to continue for many, many more! I started shooting with my father when I was a teenager and continued to hone my skills in the United States Marine Corps. It was recently brought to my attention that I really don't have any hobbies and since I've always loved guns and been able to keep at least two in the house at one time (or at least that's what the wife thinks) I've started to re-new my interest in the sports. Hello to all, and I hope to meet some nice people here. Probably meet a few assholes too, but that's to be expected and I'm not too worried about it. Semper Fi to all of my brothers who served as well.

    Too funny! Glad to meet you, James! I'm up in Colorado Springs. We moved out here about 5 years ago from Ohio, and I hear New Mexico is beautiful although we haven't had a chance to visit yet. We're thinking about a weekender trip to Taos this coming spring, any advice?

I only put that out there as a disclaimer because I've wasted a lot of energy getting upset with people in car forums who, once you post a question it seems like everyone is an expert and a couple of a-holes always put their 2-cents in as well! I've learned not to let 'em bother me anymore and just acknowledge them for what they are! Anyhoot, good to meet you!

    Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I just briefed the forum rules and it seems I have violated them already by using foul language so for that I sincerely apologize and hope that no one was offended. Sorry! Anyhow, one quick question that I can't find an answer to yet... I really wanted to post a few pics but have some sort of limit to one picture per day, is this standard for everyone or just new members? I see that other people have their own picture gallery, am I able to do this instead and if so, how to?

    Yes, you can use the forum gallery.

    Some items are limited to supporting members: Forum Donations and Supporting Member Information

    Check the "forum how-to" section for other topics. I believe if you host the pics on Photobucket or some other image hosting site you can post as many photos as you like. (just keep the size reasonable, 640x480)

    If there is something more specific just ask.

    Bruce,

    You need to come out and visit more often! Colorado Springs is beautiful...come to think of it, so is North Carolina, plus you can get to the ocean a lot quicker than I can! Thanks for the tips on picture uploading!
