Hello everyone. This is my first visit to the forum. I live in NC and carry a Ruger P89DC.

Welcome From

Welcome from Big Sky Country.
Welcome from Alabama. I have owned my P89 for about 10 yrs. I've added a hi-viz front sight and crimson trace handles. It's been nothing but reliable with no fte/ftf and it's had probably 1000 rounds through it of all kinds of ammo. It lives in the console of my truck and is shot and cleaned every week or so. I carry a Kahr PM9. My hat's off to you for carrying the P89. She's a big old girl. But, if I'm ever in a jam and can get my hands on it, the PM9 stays in the pocket as backup.

I carry my Ruger LCP more than any other carry gun I have - it is great

I also have an LCP, like it and trust it. It's the .380 cal. that I started losing faith in. I know the speil about shot placement and all, but I just feel more comfortable with the 9mm (I carry the Kahr PM9). I still carry my LCP on occasion, probably 10% of the time. I'll never get rid of it. It is so doggone easy to carry, it being so light. But the PM9 is only 6 oz. heavier. Also would consider Keltec PF9, about same size as PM9 and a lot less $$$.![]()
