    Brand new!!!!

    Hey guys, Im brand new to the forum and figured I would give all of you a hello. I've never owned a handgun before but I am about to purchase my first this coming weekend. I have set my sights on the Glock 22. I picked this because of the name Glock and the reliablility and satisfaction that comes with it and I picked the 40 caliber because of the type of job I am in right now it seems to fit just right. Well I look forward to chatting with you guys later throughout the forum.

    Glock makes a good weapon. I'm no fan boy of theirs by a long shot but there is no denying their history. I'm not sue why a .40 is a better fit for you due to work but I guess as long as you can use the weapon well it really doesn't matter.

    Welcome to the forum. A good friend of mine has a G22, loves it...I almost like shooting his 22 better than my G23!

    I too would be interested to know what you do that requires a .40......
