I just purchased my very first handgun. I purchased a cheap handgun. It is a High-Point 9mm. Does anyone have experience with these. f so what are your thoughts.

I own a Hi-Point semi-automatic carbine in 9mm - like you said it was cheap , but I've never had any trouble with it.

ty for the positive hope. from what i gather, lots of people have had problems with these guns. i will take my chances and if mine falls apert, i guess its a lesson learned.
welcome to the forum young, I think you will find it to be very helpful (most of the time).
Hi Points are what they are...cheap. They are fine to plink around and have fun with, but plan on getting something else if you are serious about handguns. There is a significant difference in quality between hi point and any major brand.
yes it would be better that if it fell apart that it would be at the range or in my backyard. As opposed to it happening when i would need to use it for protection.Ty for the welcome.
