What an informative group of posters. I'm new to the handgun experience. I have been a lifelong small game and whitetail hunter and recently passed the NRA Personal Protection Home Course. I will be in the market for a semi-automatic 9mm or .40 after I first test several options at the local range. As I gain experience I hope to be able to lend advise, but for now I hope you understand I am looking to learn from all of you.
