    Question Newbie

    Hey there...everyone.. I'm totally new to this..not even sure how to work a forum..but i have some questions about buying myself a gun..i've been given some ideas on what to buy to have for a concealed weaopon...just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas and info i could use. Thanks

    I'm a newb to handguns too. From looking around here the past month or so, I've come to the conclusion that the best HD/SD pistol is the one that you can shoot the best. Look around and find one that feels good in your hand. Enjoy your time here. These guys are great, and I've learned alot just from their experiences. Happy shooting

    I suggest you visit a range that will let you rent and shoot different guns.

    Then buy the one you feel most comfortable shooting accurately.

    If you brouse this forum, you'll get some good idea's.

    Welcome to the forum. Do some reading here and other places about handguns. Take a class. Visit a range and rent some different types. And of course, never be afraid to ask a question.....there aren't any silly questions when it comes to trusting your life to something.

    Welcome gungirl. glad to see you joined this great gun forum. Like a few others have said, go to a range that rents guns and let them know your intentions about purchasing a defense weapon. if you are serious about buying from that range that rents them, maybe they will cut you a break on the rental prices.

    how are you intending to conceal and carry? in a purse or in a holster on your body?
