Welcome.
I'd suggest calling what ever agency issued your permit and ask them. It's always better to get legal information straight from the source.

hi everybody, i new have a question (NY)
hey whats up everybody i am new to the forum. i just had a question, i currently have a nyc resident permit and i am thinking of moving to long island. i am just wondering exactly what i have to do to transfer or what ever has to be done? any help will be greatly appreciated

NYSRPA and SCOPE are both good and active groups helping to protect our rights here in NY.

I'm curious as to what a NYC resident permit actually is. What it's for and where it's valid. Just trying to learn something. Welcome from eastern NC.

welcome to the forum. I didn't realize you can get a permit for only the city. but, I guess since it is so large, it is practically its own state?
