Please don't discuss details regarding military units and there movement dates on the internet. That's a violation of this thing called 'operational security'.
I don't believe he said anything aboiut his unit that would break any security.
That has been on national news and in the newspapers for months.
Enough said, I don't think it was wrong.
Yeah i asked my CSM not in the wrong
I am calm 'buddy'. I've been there a couple of times myself. I personally prefer that those who wish us harm not know when to start looking for a plane full of me and a couple hundred of my brothers in arms to be landing at the local airport. If some of the higher ups in your branch feel it's ok to let the media be aware of that information well in advance then that's for y'all to deal with. Due to the type of unit I'm in, we've had stuff like opsec drilled into our brains over and over. Call me paranoid, but I'd just prefer to follow those kind of rules to a 'T'. Apparently some people allow those under them to communicate with the world a little more freely.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. This place is full of useful information. I have learned a whole bunch regarding the weapons, tactics, techniques and mindset required for the civilian sector. Up till recently my only weapon related knowledge came from the military.
I am sorry for the way i have acted and i hope you will forgive me for not looking at the situation from another point of view. I will think next time before i post, I am just kinda dumb sometimes Alabama Education system aint that great when all they teach you is about Working on a Farm.
And again i do appologize for my actions
Welcome aboard Mossyoak, thank you for your service. I'm a vet as well, and although lucky enough to not be from AR. I'm in Fayetteville, home to Ft. Bragg, and damned proud to be so.
Keep your butt low, get home asap, and know that everyone here is grateful for your service to our country. There might be a better place to get your feet wet, but it doesn't exist yet, and probably never will.
