I have recently been given two rather nefarious hand guns by my father. He is something of a collector and managed to acquire a wide variety of guns of all types and quality as a police officer. The two items he decided to part with are a Phoenix Arms Raven .25 and a Lorcin 380. I am well aware of the design and quality issues with these two guns, so, no need to comment on that. I have performed a recent full overhaul on each and they seem to be in fair working order. I know where to find replacement parts if I decide it's worth the expense. I have seen some information suggesting that some ammo will work better than others presenting fewer problems. I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions as to which ammo would be the best to run through these two guns when I go to test fire them for the first time

You lead em to believe that the LEO father might have..acquired thee weapons on an unconventional manner. Being what they are I don't see much reason to fool with them. But you do what you want to do.
I wouldn't mind seeing some pics too. It's been a while since I'e seen any of the weapons you listed.
