Hello all!! I am new to the forum. I am anticipating purchasing a pistol, but I have am torn between the Glock23 and the Sig Sauer 250. Does anyone have any suggestions?
If you can get to a range that rents guns then you can get an idea what fits you best in design and caliber. By asking us for suggestions will only get you a list of weapons that each of us like best. And those might not feel as good in your hand as it does ours. The more pistols you get in your hands thew more armed you are to make an educated decision with your first purchase. Any of the reputable gun makers make quality weapons. While they are all well made they might not fit you as well. I would suggest that you start with a 9mm if you are not real experienced with firearms. The recoil is really manageable and they are not hard to shoot. If you do have a range that rents and have tried the 9mm model(s) then you can try bigger bores afterwords with a little more experience under your belt.
Good advice above.

Welcome from Michigan..I'll go ahead and say it..My personal prefrence is the SIG (that's my opinion if you are asking for a survey)..As for what might work out for you, I'll encourage you to try both as rentals at a range.
I havn't shot the Sig 250 yet. I do have a glock 23 and I think that it is great. Out of my 6 handguns, I shoot the G23 more than the other 5 put together.
I'd like to try a 250 though.

GLOCKS..You either like them or hate them..No middle solution.
