    New Pistol Shooter

    This looks like a great thread & glad to be here. I am a long time rifle handloader & whitetail hunter. Recently retired after 33 years with the same company and looking to buy my first 1911. Reading lots of good stuff about lots of great 1911s on this thread. Plan to purchase this summer when the next big gun show comes to the area. Too many to choose from!
