    Checking in from Opelika, AL

    I just stumbled across this forum and I like what I see. Seems like a friendly place to learn something.
    I've been shooting all my life. Got into long range rifle competition about 5 years ago. Just a couple of weeks ago I went to a competition that included a couple of handgun stages (similar to IPSC) and I may be hooked! My wife and I are planning to check out a local handgun comp this weekend. (Just what I need, something else to spend money on)
    Anyway, looking forward to learning and sharing on this forum.

    Welcome to the forum. I think you'll find it a great read. I am a Birmingham native and UA alum although I am in central Florida for a project. It's great that your wife is hooked. I'm still working on getting my girlfriend to even hold a gun. Enjoy the site and Roll Tide.
