    Newbie from Chicagoland area...

    Hello all! My name's Ryan & I'm new to the site and also am new to handguns. I live just outside of Chicago, in the very near Western suburbs. I recently purchased my first handgun for home defense purposes. I went with a Springfield Armory XD(M) 9mm. I love this gun!!! I've put about 200+ rounds through it already.

    I'm looking forward to learning more from all the knowledgeable folks on this forum, and I hopefully won't "booger" it up with newbie comments or questions too much.
