Just joined this forum today.Been checking out several and this is the 2nd one I've found that is an enjoyable read as well as informative.
What actually caught my eye was the S&W threads.Contemplating a purchase of a slightly used (less than a box thru it) S&W model 3913 Tactical.Good price, never fired one before and the Decocker is giving me 2nd thoughts about it,that and being a southpaw.Any input will be appreciated.

Welcome to the site!
I've owned several S&W 39xx variations over the last few decades, and found them all to be reliable shooters, as "combat" accurate as the person holding them, and slim enough to be really handy for carry. The DA/SA transition can be problematic for some folks, as can operating the decocker smoothly/easily, ESPECIALLY if you are wanting to use it as a safety lever. Practice will help, as will professional training if you can find/afford it.
