    Hello from Maryland

    Hi from MD. IMO not the gun friendist state. i currently am shopping for a new pistol. having owned a colt .45 commander& H&K usp cmpt 45. 4yrs in the us army active desert sheild&storm with 24th I.D. 3rd engr cmbt. I hope to meet some new friends.

    Hi. no,my wife never injoyed shooting my H&K. So i've decided to move to 9mm. She did like the 92fs.

    I was there with you, 279th Maintenance Company supporting 2nd Coscom and 7th Corps in Hafir el Batin. Moved inland once the B52's left .

    How stiff is the slide on the Bersa. That's one of the ones I'm looking at for the wife. She broke a freaking nail racking the slide on my XD. Well actually it wasn't so funny at the time. She was pissed.

    Slide is pretty easy to rack with the safety lever it is pretty easy to get a grasp on the slide. Not too bad on the accuracy. This is 22 shots from about 30 feet. I bought 2 extra 10 round clips to go with the included 7 shot.

    I never was happy with the HK UBP compact .45. sold it back to friend i got it from for no loss. Wife and I went to Cont.arms in Cockysville last night and shot the XD9 4". Basically got the green light to get a 9mm. Now back to which one. In the running are XDm,XD 4"&5",S&W MP9,and Ber. PxStorm. The old HK was never very accurate for me and she hated the recoil.

    Welcome rcr, Dal, and Yellojacket. Good to see some more "Free Staters" around here. I'm down here in Crofton, formerly from Harford County. For my first hand gun I went with the CZ SP01 Tactical with decocker. 700+ rounds and no problems or failures. So far, so good.
