My wife and I were recommended to the range at Cherry Ridge by a few people while we were gun shopping. It's the closest range to us (about 35 minutes), and so far, we're both liking it a lot. I've shot at indoor ranges a couple of times, and don't really like them, so the outdoor range is a better personal fit. Besides, no matter what type of firearm I eventually wind up with, there's a place there to fire it. They have everything from a small clay range for shotgunners all the way out to a 300 yd. big bore range. They even run a .50 BMG shoot there at least once a year.
I'm just a little concerned that since it's the only range in the area, that they'll be really crowded once the weather warms up. I'll just wait and see.
