    New Guy from TN

    Hey everyone. My name's Daniel. I'm a 23 year old computer guy from Nashville, TN. I joined the site looking for information before purchasing my first hand gun, and from what I've seen so far there are a lot of good people on this forum. I'm looking forward to having something to contribute once I decide on what piece is right for me and have had some practice time with it! Oh and yes I'm already looking at training courses.

    Welcome from West Tn! If you haven't already taken the CCW class, I've heard that Nashvegas is pretty full. Jackson has a great class; when I took it, there were 4 people (2 guys and 2 gals) from Nashville in it because they could get in quicker! Check out http://www.jacksonisr.com/Home.html for more info.

    Thanks for the welcomes, and thanks for the advice Dr Sharkey.

    After a lot of research and handling/firing several firearms, I ended up with a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to the forum and helped with my decision.
