Hello, My name is Dennis. At 53, I am an avid hunter, reloader, bullet maker, and shooter. I started shooting at age 8 and it has been my main focus ever since. Dad was a military firearms instructor, so I got support from him very early. We would cast bullets during the week, load them up, and shoot ground squirrels on the military reserve for practice. I have been a handgun instructor and police officer. I have been competitive in long range sillouette shooting with handguns, and combat style shooting with shotguns and handguns. My business partner and myself started Black Lion Bullet Company several years ago, making hard cast LBT style hunting bullets for retail sales. I could not cast enough to sell AND shoot for myself, so we eventually opted to just shoot them ourselves. I have a special passion for lever action rifles and handguns. Since I shoot maybe 20,000 rounds a year, so casting my own bullets is a must. The levers and handguns lend themselves well for this purpose. Cheers!
