Hya and welcome to the forum
It's great you found a way to keep shooting. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't shoot anymore. Probably go (more) nuts
There are tons of 9mm pistols out there. Look around and try as many as you can. you might find one that yo u like even more than the Taurus. The Taurus is a pretty nice pistol and I don't mean to drift you from anything, it's just a good idea to try out a few before dropping the cash down then see something you like more a week later. Although it is a great excuse to add to your collection

Has to be a first post
Hi everyone. I'm Darryl and I'm from Florida. I've been a wheelgun shooter for many years but a shattered wrist put a damper on any shooting for about the last 3 years. I shot a Ruger Blackhawk in .357 and loved it. The wrist, however, had made shooting it a painful experience to say the least. Recently tried out a Taurus PT92 on a whim and to my amazement it was terrific. My shooting stunk but the stink came without pain...decided then and there that I hadda look into the Taurus or the Beretta 9 mm's. Always preferred the wheelguns to autos but that Taurus has swung me the other way...Now to find what I'm in need of. Hope you guys will tutor me and maybe lead me to the Taurus or Beretta I'm now looking for...Thanks for allowing me to join up...

Thank you all for the warm welcome to the site. I look forward to all the staid advice I'm sure I'll be receiving from you knowledgeable folks who have preceded me. I see a lot of reading and research lies ahead for me and this looks like the right place to gather the information I'm gonna need. Sampling a few more examples of the 9 mm autos will be something that also lies ahead and I'll have to see what's available down here in the HUMID gulf coast. Thanks again for the nice welcome.
