Hello from The Sunshine State

Hey guys, I saw one of Shipwrecks post over at the HKPro forums and I thought I'd give this one a try.

My name is Steve. I was born and raised in FL and am 22 years old. I've been asking questions over at hkpro because I'm new to this scene and looking to purchase my first gun very soon. :-D

I've looked at the new Beretta PX4, Springfield XD, and the USP-C compact. I'm leaning towards the USP-C. I shot a .40 USP-C and a 9mm Sig 226 Friday at the local range. Liked both guns, 226 is to big for my liking though. Considering purchasing the 9mm USP-C....I just love the way it feels and the ergonomics of the gun. 8)

Actually while I have you guys reading this, I was wondering if any of you have dealt with or bought any guns from CDNN. They have advertised a USP-C 9mm in the stainless V1(no longer in production, which I'm sure you guys know), 2 10rd mags, a holster and some other goodies for $599. It just seems to good to be true considering it is the rare stainless version. I called the 800# and asked alot of questions and the gentlemen assured me that the particular gun was NIB. I'm not sure if I can take him at his word.

What say you guys? :P

A lot of guys on the Walther Forum have purchased from CDNN. I was tempted to buy from them myself, but just decided to get one locally.

The ones at CDNN will come w/ 10 round mags, though. Be aware of that. At the time the stainless USPc was made, they all came w/ 10 rounders.

I really like my USPc in 9mm and recommend it. I prefer it to my fullsize USP now.

Yea, I know that the USP-C sold by CDNN comes with 10rd mags. It's ok to me because of how the stainless versions are no longer in production. If I ever wanted to sell that gun, it would probably be easier because of it.
