From Frisco, Texas

Just found this forum. I really like the idea of a non-denominational gun forum. Looking forward to reading and posting. :lol:
Wife and I live in Frisco, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Both of us are CHL holders. Looking to sorta retire to the pinney woods of E. Texas in the next few years. We are hopeless gun nuts and shoot on local ranges once or twice a month.
Latest addition to our family is a Baby Desert Eagle 9mm bought by wife. My next will probably be a S & W MP in 357 sig as soon as I can get my hands on one that is reasonably priced.

Hey, welcome aboard. I live in the College Station area, but my wife and I lived in Dallas for about 8 months around 2004. It was so so - we got tired of the traffic and came back here.

One of the reasons we are moving is the traffic and the rude people heavy traffic produces. Several times people have indicated that I am # 1 because slow down when being tail gated.

Also we could probably buy a place where we could shoot without paying range fees. One of the local ranges here (The Backwoods Traps) has been closed down and sold to developers and another ( The Collin County Gun Range ) has been incorperated into McKinney, Tx city limits where the PC, gun grabbing crowd has severely limited his hours of operation. He is a ex (or present) cop and to show their thanks for his service they will put him out of business. :evil:
