    New to Forum

    I have joined this forum in hopes of learning more about firearms and shooting. Used to shoot shotguns for fun in high school but that is the extent of my shooting experience. I wanted a handgun for both recreation and home protection, so for Christmas my wife bought me a XD 45 Tactical. I have shot it twice now and for having no handgun experience, I actually shoot it very well. Great Gun. Anyway, I look forward to chatting and learning from the folks on this forum.

    Welcome! You have a fine handgun that will serve you well for many different types of shooting. I'm a Glock fan myself, but I had a chance to shoot a .45 XD briefly, and I was favorably impressed.
