Smile Just got ccw in Colorado

Just now stopping by to say hello. I moved to Colorado from NJ, where guns are evil, evil. Bought a S&W 649 Bodyguard, .357 mag, applied for ccw - got it one month later. Nice. My sister dropped off a Rem 870, so now I have a shotgun, a concealed carry revolver - just need to get a rifle now. I would love to own a M1 Garand - it was an old friend once...be nice to re-establish old ties.

Thanks for the welcome, guys! Good to be out on the High Plains, where there is space and time enough to just be. People ask me "Why Las Animas?" I drive way out on 101 or 109 and I stop, park -and wait for a vehicle to come by. Eventually, one does come by - a cattle truck, or a super-sized pick-up pulling a horse trailer, or a load of hay. They wave, I wave back, get in my truck and head further out on the plains. It's taking a while to decompress, but slowly I begin to feel the land again. That's why.
