nice to meet all of you

Im not only new to the forums, but also new to owning weapons. Im now in a financial state that allows me to buy what my brain tells me i have to have. So far ive aquired a Mossberg 500 tactical w/ a slug barrell for deer, and a turkey barrell for thanksgiving. I bought a m4 simply because i was jealous of all the men and women that had the privledge to carry one( all of my fellow 249 packers will understand) and my most prized pistol a ruger p95 that belonged to my late father. Its not the most sought after or concielable but it means the world to me. looking forward to chatting my knowledge and learning from you all.

    Welcome to the forum!

Were you Army or Marines? (I'm assuming Army since you referenced the M4.)

    Army vet

I did five in the army, as a power generation tech. I'll admit the m249 was a blast to shoot but a full combat load and a couple of barrel's got heavy at times.
