    newb from VA

Hey, just stopped by to get some ideas for my next purchase, no idea what i want yet though.

as of now the only gun that's truly "mine" (registered in my name) is my 1911 springfield that was once a GI. have a few others that belong to my father that I have come to consider my own.

    actually located in blacksburg

    Welcome!

One thing that I recommend folks do when they are contemplating a new gun purchase, is to define what they want to do with it. Think about a primary, secondary, and maybe even a third use; it will help you to rule-out guns that might not be suitable, thereby guiding you toward well-reasoned choices.

thanks but that's my main problem right now, i'm just wanting a new gun, and there's a few that i've been looking at. might go with a .22 plinker, been dying for a hi-power, might get an xd for carry, maybe a snub nose for carry, also looking at getting a new top end for my 1911 in a long slide 9mm/38super
