The FNP has had some good comments made about it here and there. However, you'd be trading a gun (the Glock) with a very long track record of reliability, excellent availability of accessories (mags, holsters, sights, etc.), and easy access to knowledgeable gunsmithing, for a gun (FNP) with none of those things.
Glock, no question about it.

If I were going out today to buy a new pistol and it had to be one of the two that your choosing between, I would choose the FNP. Glock is a great gun, but no matter how much I try to force myself I can't seem to like glocks. The ergonomics are horrible for my hands.
Well, come check out the FN Forum if you want to know a lot about the FNP - lots of FNP owners there.
I saw the smiley - but still wasn't quite sure what U were sayig...
No problem...
All true points. I wouldnt hesitate to purchase a FNP, though. IMO, it is a very good handgun. On a side note, right now FN is giving away a kit very much like the kit that comes with the Springfield XD package. Polymer holster, mag pouch, and some kind of "polymer training barrel". Only downside is that you have to send off a form to get the kit.
