Why would you sell a gun you know you like, for one that a magazine says you will like?
I'm thinking of selling my Poly Baby Eagle(the gun in my avatar) and buying either the Beretta 90-two, or Sig Pro 2022. I love my BE, but lately I've been reading up reviews & info, and started liking both the 90-two and the 2022. I've handled both, and I'm cool with the feel of them.
But none of the ranges here rent either gun. So, what does everyone think? Should I do it or not?
Why would you sell a gun you know you like, for one that a magazine says you will like?
Never sell a gun you like or you will live to regret it. I know beleive me I know.Good luck.
I try not to sell any of my guns. Just keep buying more...
If you're really jonesing for a new gun, and you really can't try it out, about the only thing you can do is buy and try. If all else fails, SiG's have a huge following, as do Beretta's, and you'll likely be able to sell it albiet at a cost to you. However, how much this cost is may not matter after the time you spend trying to find a range, as well as range costs to test a gun. Others may dissagree with me, but what other options do you have? However, you'll probably end up keeping bothI'd recommend SiG, but both makers can sure make a gun.
Never sell a gun that you like. If you find another that you like, get it in addition to the one you already like. I was confronted with the same problem recently. I had 2 Ruger KP97DC's that I like, and one is my CCW. I wanted a KP90DC, so I got it in addition to what I already like. As already mentioned, if you sell a gun you like, you'll regret it.![]()
I agree with the others, don't sell a gun you like. Buy one of the others and if you dont like it after shooting it you can sell both the sig or beretta for not much of a loss.![]()
polyguy: Sir; you have something that works for you. KEEP IT
and enjoy.
Should you want another; give credence; to the "pig in a polk"
No.
Yeah, I think I'm gonna go ahead and keep my Baby Eagle. As I think about it, I seriously regret selling my G20.
Well, so far I'm leaning towards the SIGPro, over the 90-two. From the simple fact of my local dealer has the 2022 in stock and the 90-two would have to be ordered.
I'm in the process of buying my first pistol. My local shop has a used 9mm Baby Eagle they let me on the range with today. Wow! It felt good and was Very accurate for me. Now I have to add IWI ( weren't they IMI ? ) to my short list when I go the gun show this weekend. Anyone else have a good or bad experience with a BE? Thanks!![]()
Never sell your guns... just give 'em to me.![]()
I was forced to sell all my guns just after I got married and while I don’t regret it because I did it because I love my wife, It still stings every time I think about it. Now I am financially able to rebuild the arsenal and I will never be without a gun again. Don’t ever sell guns you like unless it’s absolutely necessary.
