You may be antisipating recoil and breaking your wrist foward. See if you can get the range officer to help you out. Or somebody you know that is a good shooter. That's way to low to be the guns fault and you need someone there to help you. Good luck.

It happens to everybody sometime or another. You get a different gun and you can't hit the barn standing inside it. It's no big deal you just need somebody on the side to see what is happening and tell you. I have the very same gun you have and it took me about 3 months to get comfortable with it. I was ready to throw it in the river one day and almost did. Oh before I forget. I got about 30 hand guns and I been shooting all my life so don't be afraid to ask for a little help. I am still learning. Good luck.

If you haven't tried it already, use a rest and see how it goes. If point of impact improves it's not the gun. If it is still low, see about sending it back for repair?
