The best advise I can give you is buy the one that feels the best to you and don't worry about what everybody says. They are both good guns and both should give you good service for a long time. They probably forgot to tell you the guy fell out of a boat and didn't clean his gun for two weeks. They'll rust every time. Good luck.

Thank you Baldy. I will probably shoot both of them one more time before I make my purchase, but currently I am leaning toward the XD.

Well, she does like to fish out of our Kayak a lot.

So far, she has resisted the urge to just shoot the fish, but you never know ...
