    Well, I did it.

    My oldest son turned 21 on Saturday.
    Today I took him to Traders gun shop and bought him a Taurus PT92.
    Stainless steel with gold highlights and Rosewood grips.

    A PT 92, eh? I couldn't think of a better gift. Great choice. I'm sure he'll get many years of enjoyment from it. He might even pass it on to one of his children.

    doncameron, I'd like to invite you, and your son to join us over at the TaurusArmed.net site. Another great bunch of shooters. You'll find very few problems with that series of pistols (PT92/99/100/101). I love mine.

    When I turned 21... I didn't get anything.

    I already had a revolver before then anyway.
    The Taurus 92 is a good pistol. He should like it.

    When I turned 21 (1968) the only thing I got was shot at. Yup, Nam. At least I wasn't in the jungle with the real heros. That's why I joined the Navy.
