I'm in Greesboro. I go to an indoor range called "Calibers". It's located on the west side of Greensboro, beside the airport.

As far as a decent place to purchase firearms, There's a place in Kernersville called The Gun Rack. I've bought a couple of handguns there... not a bad place. Just depends on what you're looking for.

Hello USMC from Winston. I'm a Newton native unhappily living in Raleigh for one more week and moving back to the western part of the state. If you know what you're looking for I recommend Bass Pro Shops in Charlotte. Don't count on their sales people knowing a Smith from a Ruger, but if you know what you want that won't matter. Call 'em and see if they have what you want; their prices are about as good as I've seen anywhere. From my memory they have Smith, Ruger, Glock, Browning, Walther and such. Haven't bought any handguns from them, but I did buy a BAR there a few years back. After I bought my GP 100 last summer I saw it at BPS for about $40 less.

Plus it's Bass Pro Shops, which is good day spent.
