Haven't gotten much feedback on them, but pretty much it is just a Beretta Cougar.
It's just done by a subsidiary of Beretta and made in their Turkish factory. It's a good deal on a good pistol.
I Love mine!
really good accuracy, very reasonable muzzel flip, good solid feel in the hand.
500 rounds with not a hiccup.
Dependable quality for a $300 price range!
I'll never sell it.
You can't go wrong...buy it.
I met a guy at the local range last year. He had just picked one up at Sportsman's Warehouse, I think for about $300! It was a .40 caliber model. He never had any trouble with it. I shot it, and it was accurate, light recoil, and went bang every time I pulled the trigger. Seems like a really nice gun for the money. It's available in 9mm, too. As already mentioned, it's a Beretta made in Turkey.
it seems like it is a better gun the a ruger P95 or P98 don't you guys think
sorry p89
To tell the truth the cougar was the gun I was looking at getting for my first. Though what can I say that M9 and 1911 of mine just screamed at me. Past that the only thing I can truly say is it's on my list of things to get.
for anyone that has shot one do you like the .40 or the 9mm better?
Mine is a .40S&W
I think there is very little difference in recoil and dependability between .9mm and .40. The recoil and muzzle flip difference I'd think would be negligible.
A very solid pistol!
(And yes, I got mine new too for just under $300. Can't beat it for Beretta relibility and quality...under their subsidiary company name). Very accurate too.
