I finally found my carry gun

I have bought at least 15 handguns hoping that it will be the one I want on me at all time. I have been carrying different guns every week. I was at Gander Mtn. today getting some primers when I saw it. When it landed in my hands I thought this might be it. Then I dried fired it and I said it's the one I've been looking for for years. It's the small Para-ordance LDA pistol. I'm getting ready to purchase one using budsgunshop. I have to wait until my credit card gets my check I sent to pay it off. If anyone has fired one I'd love to hear about it.

Congrats! I hope this is the one for you... finally! 15 handguns?! Wow!

I like the XD line and I've had my eye out for an XD40 subcompact to be my new carry pistol. I'm hoping the seller and I can come to an agreement.

This is a warning to the rest of you. Watch out for propellerhead, he's stealing my XD 40 from me. I had to throw in the kitchen sink just to get him to buy it. We might have a deal, I told him I would throw in the wife and he had the nerve to ask me if he could check her out first. He's a hard man to deal with but he is a Texan and that's why I'm giving him a big break.

Edit: After reading the last PM I got from spacedoggy, I have to say this guy is nuts. He's trying to sell me an XD40 for less than market value and he's throwing in a full day of shoooting his guns and his ammo. He's really spaced out!

I've got the same gun and love it. I run about 500rds of cheap ball and 100rds of jhp without any problems. I plan to start carrying after a 1000 rnds.

Great to hear. I don't think I've been this excited about a gun before. I'm a bit confused so I'm going to find out which model I played with over at Gander Mtn. I believe it's the LDA with the 3" barrel single stack 6+1 of 45acp. I think it said stealth on it. It also was hammerless. I just want to make sure I order the right one when it comes time for me to order. I love that LDA trigger. I swear it's a single action. Not only do I plan to make it my primary carry, I also plan on shooting the hell out of it. I've reloaded 500 rounds already. I have to wait until after the first of April to order it. Can't wait, Can't wait

Looks like spacedoggy and I came to a deal. I'll buy his XD40 subcompact and he'll keep his wife.

I guess I can say I finally found my carry gun too! Well, it's the next best thing till Springfield Armory comes out with a subcompact XD45.

Met with spacedoggy yesterday and bought his XD40. Great guy. Thanks spacedoggy!

I'm really liking this XD40. I have my XD9 for frequent practice, my XD45 for home defense, and now an XD40 for concealed carry. Having all XDs, the man-machine interface is always the same. I don't have to worry about remembering which pistol I have and what controls it has during a panic situation.

Does this mean you now have at least 14 slightly used handguns you'll sell at a huge discount to forum members? (Don't forget to include the Texas discount also.)

I've got the covert-carry version - all low-reflective black - but otherwise the same gun. Excellent pistol in all respects.
