Funny thing happened yesterday...

My buddy, his friend, and I went out to do some shooting on my buddy's land. So, we're pulled off onto this dirt road at the entrance to his property, and from the back of the Suburban we pull an M4, M1, AK-47, and a couple of my pistols (in a case). The next thing we see...???? A Sheriff Deputy driving by right behind us going down the side road!! :smt104 He did a double-take, stopped, backed up, and came to talk to us. All he asked was who's property it was! He didn't say anything about all the EBRs we had. I mentioned to him that I had a CCL and had a firearm on me, but he didn't bat an eye, and didn't ask to see the License or firearm. Then, he just drove off! :smt083 :smt083 :smt083 Nice guy!

I think you would have gotten a different action if this was in a public parking lot

Lol, that's what I thought! I'd hate to be an LEO in an instance like that. It's like, "Well, I'm sure those guys are probably law-abiding citizens, but d*mn, I don't wanna go ask!"

You must live in a really bad neighborhood if you were expecting a harsher reaction. It wasn't that bad in upstate NY where I used to live and that was during the "Pataki-Clinton Gun Ban"(which still exists there).
