    small rifle/carbine help please

    i am looking for advice, i am looing to get a nice looking cheap gun to start off with. i really like the walther G22 but apparently it is illigal in canada du to the bullpub design having the ammo load in the butt. i do like the beretta storm, and i find it a fun weapon to shoot, but i am looking for something similar in a 22 cal. anybody know of any out there?

    anything with the look cool factor of the beretta storm or G22? i would like a futristic looking "bull pup" design

    that is a nice looking rifle though. whats the range on that?

    If you're asking what the effective range of the 22lr is for hunting, I wouldn't go past 200 yards max, and more like 100 yards.. Bullet drop at 100 yards is usually around 4-6 inches, way more at 200, and by that time the little 22 has lost most of its zip. I admit the 10X scope is a bit overkill on a 22, but it needed a home.

    Look for a tactical picture thread over at rimfire centtral, there are several options for a more "cool factor" look, including some stocks that will accept AR15 buttstock assemblies and grips (EGW), HK lookalikes (Rhineland Arms), etc..
