Well, they no longer make a titanium finished Walther. And, the Tan frame is something very new. To my knowledge, there is and never was no such animal. The tan frame came out after the titanium finish was stopped.

Someone either hard chromed the slide on a tan frame, mixed the slide of an old titanium finished P99 to a new frame, or duracoated the frame.

I wondered that at times myself. I've been to many different gunstores and I've never seen any make/model handgun on display that's multi colored.

Nah dude, I went to the gun store yesterday. Yesterday!(needed Break-Free) Can't tell me what I saw and held.
I'm not saying titanium cause i think it was, but the side of the slide had titanium engraved in it.
I don't doubt they may have put an old slide on a tan frame, still beautiful.
Once again, no one I've ever asked about the Taurus PT-745(even the gun store that was selling it had any recollection) says it exist, but I've held it.
I've seen the Grey slide Glocks too.

I've seen Glocks with camoflage slides. That is really cool.

Essentially, that is just a shrink wrap over the Glock frames. If U peak underneath - they are OD green frames. U'll eventually see it as that covering wears.

I kinda like the desert covering Glocks, though.

The tan frame is actually an ugly, ugly tan. Was that tan nice looking? If it was, then someone duracoated the frame.

Was it the new style frame w/ an open rail, or the old style frame w/ the closed front rail and the little frame "bump" under the trigger? They quit making the titanium slides before the new style frames came out. But, the tan slides were only made in the new frames...
