    Reciprocity vs. Honors Permit??

    Hi all, when looking at the maps on packing.org, noticed that they have 3 categories: Honors Permit, Reciprocity with, and does not honor permit. Whats the difference between reciprocity and honors permit?

    To put it simply, "honors" means one state will recognize a second states license even if the second state does not recognize the first states license. "Reciprocity" means that two (or more) states agree to honor the license of the other... your basic you scratch our backs and we'll scratch yours agreement.
